NSQF is a nationally integrated education and competency-based framework that
enables persons to acquire desired competency levels. The National Skills
Qualifications Framework (NSQF) organizes qualifications according to a series of
levels of knowledge, skills and aptitude.
These levels, graded from one to ten, are defined in terms of learning outcomes
which the learner must possess regardless of whether they were acquired through
formal, non-formal or informal learning. It is, therefore, a nationally integrated
education and competency-based skill and quality assurance framework that will
provide for multiple pathways, horizontal as well as vertical, including vocational
education, vocational training, general education and technical education, thus
linking one level of learning to another higher level.
This will enable a person to acquire desired competency levels, transit to the job
market and at an opportune time, return for acquiring additional skills to further
upgrade their competencies.
At Vidhya Vihar High School, we offer Electronics as one of the NSQF subjects and
we proud to announce the establishment of a state-of-the-art Electronics Lab in our
school sponsored by Goa Samagra Shiksha in association with Directorate of
Education, Govt of Goa, designed to empower students enrolled in the NSQF
Electronics subject. This lab will serve as a hub for practical learning, fostering
innovation and hands-on experience in the dynamic field of electronics.
The laboratory is equipped with modern tools and devices, including DC power
supplies, digital multi-meters, breadboards, and a wide range of electronic
components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, and ICs. Additionally,
it will house essential equipment for testing, measurement, and circuit design,
enabling students to understand and apply core concepts effectively.
Our aim is to provide students with an environment that bridges theoretical
knowledge and practical application. Through this facility, they will gain the skills
needed to excel in the electronics domain and prepare for real-world challenges in
their future careers.
This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering technical education and skill
development. We are excited about the opportunities this lab will create for our
students to innovate, experiment, and learn.
